After Hours

Networking is so important to the sustainability of every business, organization or industry.  We have a road tested opportunity for all of our members and guests to develop quality relationships with like-minded community leaders.

 Our After Hours program was instituted in April of 2005 as a way to “Get Connected” in a social atmosphere at days end. They are planned at a different business locations each and every month. 

Our initial event at the Lewistown Hospital set the bar high with 82 members in    attendance.  Since that time we have had as few as 35 members attend an event and as many as 230.

 

 

There has never been a time when we didn’t have at least a dozen events scheduled in advance; providing for a casual evening of conversation, the sharing of ideas, plus new introductions; all accompanied by beverages and appetizers. Added features may include presentations, tours and demonstrations.

It is well known in Business 101, the first visit to any new business site is the most difficult to achieve. A strong benefit to hosting an After Hours event is the quantity of first time visitors who often become regular customers in the future

The host businesses are all in Mifflin or Juniata County.  Events generally begin at 5:30 pm and end at 7:30 pm.  Attendees can come and go as they please.  Reservations are required and a  $5.00 administrative fee will be collected at the door.  Guest fee is $ 10.00.
